How To Apply
The applicants must go to the nearest office of SASSA along with the following documents:
- A thirteen-digit bar-coded South African ID.
- Proof of marital status (if applicable).
- Proof of residence.
- Any documents that show the income and assets.
- The applicant’s bank account details.
Should in case an applicant is unable to apply in person due to health reasons, a family member or other trusted person may apply on their behalf, provided that a certified letter, along with medical proof, is submitted.
