Over a crore employees of the central government await the DA of the first half of this year and meanwhile, the latest news has just out about the DA from the first 18 months to central employees. The government appears to have made its stance clear as regards this. Let it be stated that a few years ago, the government had withdrawn the DA for three half-years from the employees. An update has come in this regard, after which the buzz has come back again into the minds of employees and pensioners about it. The employees and pensioners used to demand to the government for a long time, providing this stopped DA to them. Now the government has cleared the whole picture on this. This Has Been Demanded From The Government:

The Confederation of Central Government Employees and Workers had previously made noise regarding the 18 months DA pending for central employees and pensioners. For this, already a circular had been issued by the Confederation that their dearness allowance stopped during Kovid-19 epidemic is for 18 months. This DA relates to three quarters from January 2020 to June 2021; it should be given urgently. 

Circular Issued On This Date

On 7 March 2025, the Confederation of Central Government Employees and Workers has issued this circular. In addition, the central government ignores the legitimate demands of employees and pensioners. Employee organizations were expressing anger over their demands for quite a long time, but the government does not heed their demands. Now, it seems, the government has woken up with a new update.

Government Is Clear-

It is really long since the period of Corona ended. In this context, the employees hope that the government will deposit the amount in the accounts of the employees. But, it has been told by the government long before this that the DA which was stopped during the Corona period will not be given; at that time, the economy of the country was not strong and now the government had decided that it would not be given. Now, the Confederation of Central Government Employees and Workers has resolved to have its employees continue this struggle.
