How Much Will The Salary Rise
If DA (Dearness Allowances News Updates) rises by 2 percent this time, then the entry-level central government employee, with basic pay around Rs 18,000 per month, will see his salary increase by Rs 360 per month w.e.f. January 1, 2025 on this DA hike. In addition, if the basic pay is Rs 18,000, with monthly remuneration of Rs 30,000, now he will receive Rs 9,540-the dearness allowance is at 53 percent of the basic.
How Much Can Dearness Allowance Increase
All in all, with a 2 percent increase in dearness allowance, the employee will enter into a new payment scale of Rs 9,900 per month, which is higher than the existing salary figure of Rs 360.
