8th Pay Commission News: 1.15 Crore Employees Get A Gift, Salary Will Increase By 92 To 186%

The new figures under the 8th Pay Commission for central employees have newly surfaced to provide hopes for salary increases to central employees. A major increase in pay is going to be made. Many different figures for the increase in the salary of employees have come out.

186% Maximum Increase Figure

Central employees are likely to see a boost of 186 percent in salary under the 8th Pay Commission. Speculations are doing rounds regarding the new framework of the salary structure. The fitment factor is expected low at 2.86. This can cause an increase of 186 percent in the minimum basic salary of central government employees. This much increase has been demanded for the employees by Shiv Gopal Mishra, Secretary of the new CJCM.

At Least Through 92% Possible Increase 

So just if the fitment factor is in the 8th Pay Commission 2.86, salary can increase 186% for the employees. On this, former Finance Secretary Subhash Garg Chandra said that asking for this would just be like asking the moon. Not possible for him to get such a fitment factor. His expectation is that the fitment factor should be from 1.92 up to 2.08. This can increase from only 92% to 108% the minimum basic salary of the employees.

157% Demanded Hike By Employees 

Various fitment factors have emerged for the salary hike of government employees. The fitment factor according to what has been established can be between 1.92, 2.0 and from 2.08 to 2.86. Meanwhile, workers demand that the fitment factor remain at least 2.57 like the last time, an increase of 157 percent. Let us tell you that the fitment factor is a coefficient; the new salary is known by multiplying with the previous basic salary.
