When Will The DA Increase Be Announced

In the case of the Government announcing dearness allowance and dearness relief during this week, its benefit shall also well be seen in their salary. One should know that this time the cabinet agenda estimates an increase in DA and DR. Experts are saying that announcement with respect to the increase in salary of the central employs may come up in next cabinet meeting. 

How Much Can DA Increase

As per the details, this time probably an increase of 2 percent in the DA comes for January. It is being said that this year a lesser increase of DA is expected than in the last year. DA during the Seventh Pay Commission was increased by 3 percent in October last and by 4 percent in March. After the last increase by 3 percent in October DA, the basic salary of the employees shall be at 53 percent. If this time there is a 2 percent increase in DA, then the basic salary of the employees will rise to 55 percent.

When Will The 8th Pay Commission Be Formed?

The government has already announced about the formation of the Eighth Pay Commission in January itself. Upon the kickoff of the New Pay Commission, there will be heavy increases in salaries and pensions of government employees. Now, according to reports, the new Pay Commission shall be set up shortly. There will be an immediate appointment by the government of one chairman and at least two members. Although DA and DR would be reviewed biannually, there would be one final review by the Commission before it enters consultations with various stakeholders.
